The 3-star Hotel Sherlock Holmes enjoys a tranquil location approx. 500 m from the centre of Meiringen. It is 200 m to the closest lift and cross-country ski trails. The accommodation has a reception, dining room, restaurant, bar, conference room, internet corner, children's play room, ski cellar and lift. Use of the hotel pool and sauna is included in the holiday price (daily 7.00 - 19.00). Parking spaces are available at a fee.
Furnishing/Board
The light and cosy rooms have a shower/wc, telephone, cable TV, hairdryer and some with balcony. Included half board is comprised of a breakfast buffet and a 4-course evening meal. At Christmas a 5-course evening meal is included with entertainment programme, at New Year's a 5-course gala meal with midnight snack and sparkling wine.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
