Gasthof Hochsteg
The cosy Gasthof Hochsteg is located quietly at the edge of Mayrhofen, approx. 2 km from the centre, as well as from the Penken and Ahorn lift. A ski bus stop is reached within approx. 150 m. A free hotel shuttle bus can also take you to Finkenberg (upon request). The accommodation offers a reception, Wifi/surf station, restaurant, breakfast room, bar, terrace, parlour, playroom/common room, snack machine and ski room with ski boot drier. Further there is a sauna and a relaxation room which belongs to the accommodation. Free parking spaces are also available. Furnishing/Board The cosy rooms all have a shower/wc, satellite TV, radio, sage and some also have a balcony. The holiday price includes half-board and comprises a rich breakfast buffet, e.g. with eggs, yoghurt, coffee, tea, juice, cold cuts, cheese and fruit bowl, as well as a 3-course evening meal with choice and soup, salad buffet, main dish (mostly a meat dish and a vegetarian dish) and dessert. Vegetarian meals are also possible. On New Year's Eve there is a special 4-course gala dinner. For a small fee you can add a 2-course lunch in the glacier ski hut at the Hintertux Glacier.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
