Hotel Alpina

The Hotel Alpina is located in Ried, approx. 300 m from the resort centre and approx. 1 km from the gondola in Kaltenbach. The ski bus stops directly in front of the door. Access to the nearest cross-country trail is approx. 100 m away. The accommodation offers a friendly entrance area with reception, lift, dining hall, parlour, bar, wine bar, conservatory and Wifi (in the hotel lobby and in the dining hall, payable locally). Further there is spa area available, including an indoor pool with integrated jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, eucalyptus steam bath, infrared cabin, activity showers, fitness room and a spa programme (according to the hotel notice board). These facilities can be used for free (open daily between 15:00 and 20:30), the solarium can be used if paid locally. Various entertainment offers, e.g. tobogganing, night skiing or snowshoe hiking may be booked and paid for locally. Further there is a disco night (once a week), an après ski afternoon, as well as a weekly programme at Pina's (according to the hotel notice board) on offer. Free parking spaces and a parking garage can be used, based on availability. Furnishing/Board The friendly furnished rooms all have a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, telephone, radio, hair drier and also have a balcony or terrace. The included half-board comprises a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet with organic food corner, as well as a 3-course evening meal with choice and salad buffet (no choice on day of arrival). 3x per week there are various buffets on offer (e.g. "Schmankerl" buffet or dessert buffet). On Christmas and New Year's Eve special menus are served.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
