Hotel Waldfriede
The 4-star Hotel Walfriede, built in the typical Tyrolean style, is located quietly with a wonderful panoramic view, approx. 800 m from the centre of Fügen. The house is directly on the piste, about 200 m above the Spieljochbahn lift, and offers a grand view of the area. To the next ski bus, it is only 150 m, from which you can comfortably reach the ski area Hochfügen. Entrance to cross-country ski trails is only 500 m away. The cosy hotel includes an entrance hall with reception, lift, cosy lounges, dining hall, fireplace room, hotel bar, terrace, internet surfing station, internet corner/wifi (payable locally), children's play room, and ski room with ski boot drier. The lovely spa area includes a Finnish sauna (16:00-19:00) and a panoramic indoor pool and infrared cabin (7:00-19:00) free of charge. Use of the solarium can be booked and paid locally. Free parking spaces available and garage spaces can be rented (both based on availability). Furnishing/Board The spacious and cosy rooms have bath or shower/wc, hair drier, satellite TV, telephone, and safe, and some rooms have a balcony. The included half board is comprised of a breakfast buffet with organic corner and tea bar and a 4-course evening meal from a selection with salad buffet. Once per week a themed buffet is prepared. Christmas and New Year's Eve meals are also included.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
