Hotel Kristall
The very comfortable 4-star Hotel Kristall lies centrally in Finkenberg, only approx. 150 m from the gondola "Finkenberger Almbahnen", 3 km from the famous resort Mayrhofen and approx. 14 km from the all-year-round skiing area on the Hintertuxer Glacier. The ski bus stops directly at the accommodation. From the ski area Finkenberg/Lanersbach you can ski right down to the hotel, as long as the weather conditions allow it. Shopping facilities as well as cafés and bars are close by. The family-run hotel offers a hotel lobby with fire place and library, lift, Internet, panorama dining hall, sun terrace, non-smoking "Zirben"-parlour, children's play room, a la carte parlour-restaurant, a buffet area with show cooking as well as a wine cellar and a heated ski room. The well maintained, approx. 250 m², spa area (open 16:00 - 20:00) with organic sauna and Finnish sauna, aromatic steam bath, relaxation room with panoramic view, infrared cabin and activity showers as well as a fitness room with cardio machines (open 8:00 - 20:00) is available free of cost. Furthermore there are fruit juices you can help yourself to in the spa area (free), and when paid locally, massages, the solarium and cosmetic treatments are available. For arrivals between 14/10 and 20/12/12, you will receive a couples' bonus of a €25 spa voucher/room/stay. Parking spaces included (based on availability).
Furnishing/Board
The friendly, Tyrolean-style, furnished rooms have a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, Internet access (payable locally), telephone, safe, hair drier and balcony. The included half-board PLUS consists of a hearty breakfast buffet with freshly prepared egg dishes, a selection of afternoon snacks and a 4-course evening meal. Also there are two different themed culinary evenings Christmas and New Year's Eve menus are also included in the offer. For arrivals between 14/10 and 20/12/12 you will also receive one bottle of prosecco and waffles on your room as a welcome present.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
