The 4-star Alpine Resort Schwebebahn is located perfectly on a sunny plateau, just above Zell am See and directly at the valley station of the Schmittenhöhe lift. Ski-in is possible here, as the accommodation is located directly on the piste, just along the valley run to the lift and the Sonnalm. Park your car upon arrival and just leave it standing until you leave for home again. The lively resort centre with its numerous shopping and entertainment facilities, as well as cafés, bars and restaurants can be reaches within approx. 2 km. Ski school, practice lifts and slopes are to be found directly at the hotel. A ski bus with direct connection to the resort centre stops just approx. 100 m away. The Alpine Resort Schwebebahn is a very comfortable accommodation. It's facilities include a spacious hotel lobby with reception, a sociable hotel bar and sitting facilities at the fireplace, a cosy common room, a reading room and in-house library and a restaurant. The day bar and adjoining sun terrace (incl. deck chairs and blankets) offers a wonderful view of the pistes, which you can enjoy whilst drinking your coffee. If you are on the look-out for apres ski, ski into the hotel-own umbrella bar in the afternoon and start the party there. Further there is the "Alpine Kids Club" for children from the age of 3 years, from Monday to Friday including children's entertainment programme on various occasions during the day (approx. 3-4 hours) and there is also a children's play corner. To ensure your skiing equipment is safe, there is a ski room and ski boot driers available. There is also an indoor pool with integrated massage jets (open 07:30 - 21:00) and a sauna complex with Finnish sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, Kneipp baths, hay bath, relaxation and tranquillity area and solarium (open 15:00 - 19:00) available to use for free.

Furnishing/Board
The renovated and country-style furnished rooms all have a telephone, cable TV, radio, safe, as well as a bath or shower/wc, hair drier and some also have a balcony. The already included half-board PLUS comprises a welcome drink, rich breakfast buffet (with cold and warm dishes), an apres ski snack and/or cake between 15:00 and 17:00 (not on Saturdays), a 4-course evening meal with choice of three main dishes and daily salad buffet, as well as starter and dessert buffet (regularly alteration). On various weekly occasions there are themed buffet evenings, such as a farmer's buffet with zither music, an Italian evening, fondue evening or gala dinner. Christmas dinner on 24/12/2011 and New Year's Eve dinner on 31/12/2011 with gala and midnight buffet are also included. Between 17/03/2012 and 14/04/2011 All Inclusive board is included in the holiday price. This comprises all drinks, such as lemonade between 11:00 and 23:00, as well as wine and beer from the barrel. Between 20:00 and 23:00 schnapps and brandy are also included (yet not from the umbrella bar or terrace bar) and there is also lunch pack available or alternatively a 2-course lunch.
