The comfortable 4-star Hotel Marco Polo Alpina is located in lovely Hinterthal, a district of Maria Alm, approx. 9 km from the centre. Entry to the Ski Amadé ski region is located approx. 200 m away. The ski bus stops approx. 100 m away and brings you comfortably to the lift. The hotel consists of three connected buildings and offers a reception with Wifi and safe (payable locally), lifts, a non-smoking restaurant, in-house pizzeria, house bar, café, sun terrace and spa (open daily 07:30 a.m. until 21:00 p.m.) area with indoor pool, Finnish sauna (open from 15:00), steam room, relaxation room and fitness room. 1 x week a ski safari or snow shoe hike is offered. Several events and live music take place weekly in the hotel bar. For children aged 3 - 14 years there is a child care service available from Mondays to Fridays 13:00 - 17:00 p.m. with midday snack and juice bar. Free parking spaces (upon availability) and a garage (payable locally) are also available. Furnishing/Board The cheerfully furnished studios and apartments offer a living/sleeping area and a small kitchen with refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave, as well as a shower and some with separate wc. Telephone, cable TV and balcony. The included half-board consists of a breakfast buffet with muesli corner and 3-course evening meal (also vegetarian) with salad buffet. 2 - 3 x week various specialities buffets. A special festive meal is served on Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
