The lovely, family-run, 3-star Hotel Salzburgerhof is situated directly in the centre of Bad Hofgastein, in the quiet pedestrian area, approx. 700 m from the lift. A ski bus stop is to be found directly in front of the accommodation (approx. 20 m). A cross-country can be reached within 400 m. Furthermore the public swimming pool "Alpen Therme", an ice skating rink and curling can be found approx. 300 m away. Hotel facilities include a lobby area with reception, breakfast room, dining hall, restaurant, café, après ski bar in front of the hotel, lounge with TV and free Wifi access in the lounge, Internet corner (payable locally), reading room, non-smoking parlour, ski and ski boot room, bike room and terrace. Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
