Ski hotels in Europe: price and quality from Trivago

In the wake of growing demand for budget hotels in the UK Trivago.co.uk tourism portal prepared a special rating of cheap ski hotels represented in the network.

Eastern European countries were most widely represented in the list. Ski resorts of Romania and Bulgaria have long and firmly occupied a niche of the most attractive regions of winter recreation in the Old World in terms of price. Trivago.co.uk rating once again highlighted this trend.

The first place in the list of low-cost ski hotels was occupied by St. Ivan Rilski spa hotel located at the Bansko resort in Bulgaria. The hotel is known for the fact that here stopped the Prince of Monaco. Such a high level of service in the hotel is supplemented with pleasant accessibility. In the four-star St. Ivan Rilski room prices starts from 37 Euros. However, this proposal is valid only for one week - from 10 to 17 February 2012.

The second place in the ranking is hold by the Hotel Coroana Brasovului, located at the ski resort of Poiana Brasov in Romania. The hotel has 42 rooms and the nearby Carpathian ski routes suit skiers of any level. Room rates start at 52 Euros.

However, after two truly interesting proposals in the Trivago.co.uk ranking comes hidden advertising. Hotels offered by the portal are distinguished not so much by the price, but its location and the number of services.

Thus, on the third place was the hotel at a ski resort in Germany. Astenblick hotel situated in Winterberg offers rooms form 100 Euros. Sauerland, the region where the hotel is located, is known not only as a ski resort, but also as a cozy winter recreation area. However, the hotel offers excess in total to 30 slopes.

Zakopane in Poland, which was considered as a budget winter holiday destination, won the fourth position in the rating, which, in theory, should have added respectability to the Kominiarski Wierch hotel located there. It is a villa with 13 rooms that is a nice option for a quiet pastime from 86 Euros per room.

Another German hotel holds the fifth place. It is Explorer Hotel at the Oberstdorf resort near Fischen. Among the hotel services is iPAD for using the Internet. The cost of rooms in the hotel starts from 99 Euros.
