Zillertal Valley resorts, which tracks are located on the slopes of the Kitzbühel Alps, prepared several grand innovations for the new season. New lifts, shops and entertainment - these benefits will be available for those, who wants to spend winter holidays in the Zillertal-Arena region in 2011-2012 season.

The main innovation of the region is a new Rosenalmbahn ski lift terminal, located near Kitzbühel in the Zell am Ziller area. The new terminal will offer its guests an integrated ski bus station, covered ski passes offices and a system of escalators for comfortable access. Thus, the using of the famous ski lifts will be much easier.

Gipfelbahn Königsleiten gondola is another large-scale innovation, which will appear in the Zillertal-Arena this season. The latest 8-chair gondola lift will replace the outdated 4-chair lift. The feature of the new lift will be heated seats. Another unique quality is the panoramic views that will be available on Gipfelbahn Königsleiten.

For the upcoming season in the Zillertal Arena will be prepared 316 snow guns, which will provide for the snow guarantee on a total area of more than 216 hectares.

In total, Zillertal-Arena tourists are offered 166 kilometers of ski Zell Gerlos tracks, two snow parks, half-pipe and many other advanced options for active winter holidays.

During current 2011-2012 season in Zillertal-Arena will be held several openings, which will precede the start of the main season. For the first tests tracks in the region will be open from 2 to 4 December. Then on 9-11 December will be organized a party in Gerlos to mark the start of the season. And then, the official start of the full ski season will be announced on December 16.

For the pre-season skiing a two-day ski pass for the Zillertal-Arena tracks will cost about 83 Euros for adults and 37.5 Euros for children. The guests can use free ski buses that bring them to the slopes, discounts up to 20% for the youth, sleigh rides in Celle, super extreme cableway Arena Skyliner and much more.
