Protest World Rookie festival in Ischgl is one of the major events for skiers in Austria. In the end of the season in Ischgl come many freestylers that will show their skills in the finals of Protest World Rookie.

Rookie is a term referring to young fans of freestyle and free-ride. Therefore, the majority of participants, who will compete for the grand prize of the competition and the title of World Rookie Champion, are mostly under 20 years.

Ischgl ski games will be held from April 6 to April 9, 2011. Among the prizes is not only money, but also glory. Winners of the championship will be shot by Onboard Europe and the famous team of adventurers from Pirate Movie Production. In addition, the winner of the competition will have the opportunity to travel to Chile and take part in the free-ride filming.

The main part of the Protest World Rookie festival will take place in the XPERIA Snowpark.

After the freestyle completion Ischgl will pass the baton of fun. On April 11, 2011 at the famous Austrian resort after exhausting season will cook the best restaurant chefs in Ischgl. Chef's Star Cup is the chef giant slalom championship, which will be held in Ischgl for the 14 time.
