The famous ski resort of Soelden, which opens ski season in Austria, now is one of the first, which is preparing for closing ceremony. And the closing of the season in Soelden promises to be a memorable event. Here from April 29 to May 1 will be held a large-scale festival MAXXX Mountain Glacier Festival.

MAXXX Mountain Glacier is the festival, which combines music and sport. On the slopes of the two glaciers in Soelden - Rettenbach and Tiefenbach - will be mounted stages, where will perform DJs and musicians from all over Europe. It is worth noting that both glaciers are located at an altitude of 3000 meters.

Among the musicians who will warm up the audience at the very top of the Austrian Alps are "Achtung Babies" and "The Queen Kings".

One of the central events of the festival in Soelden promises to be Bag Jump Session - competition of extreme stunts among snowboarders and free-riders.

MAXXX Soelden festivals are the thresholds that mark the end of the seasons. Because in addition to the closing festival in Soelden for several years in a row in October is held a similar MAXXX Start festival, which precedes the next season.

The festival participants will be able to test the latest ski slopes, compete in carving, try their hands hand in paragliding and other extreme disciplines. Event organizers also promise a party that will last all night long.

Tiefenbach and Rettenbach glaciers are among the last, who close ski season in Austria .Here until May remain decent conditions for skiing. Total length of slopes on glaciers is 40 kilometers.
