Kitzbühel Introduces New Alpen AllStarCard
(Austria Ski Tipps)Kitzbühel Alps ski region’s website announced that all new Kitzbüheler Alpen AllStarCard will be introduced before the beginning of the coming season. The new ski pass will be valid for one day period or longer and give the rights to visit seven ski areas – Kitzbühel, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, ski region Schneewinkel, Hochtal Wildschönau, Alpbachtal, Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang, and Zell am See-Kaprun including glacier Kitzsteinhorn which is 3,203 m high and is the highest ski area in the region.
Thus, the ski pass provides “357 cable cars and lifts, 1,081 kilometres of pistes, 762 km of pistes with artificial snow, 83 km of marked ski trails, 90,820 vertical metres, 256 ski huts, 70 ski schools”. Naturally, in some force majeure circumstances or in case of certain difficulties the card can be suspended, for instance, “in the event of technical difficulties, storm and some weather conditions, lack of snow, etc., also if there is overcrowding…” A six day ticket for adults will cost EUR 204 and the whole season pass will be priced at EUR 497 until the 4th of December and EUR 555 if bought later than that. Children born between 2002 and 1993 are subject to 50% discount.
