Les Deux Alpes Announces Season Opening
(Steiermark Vacation Tips)The French ski resort of Les Deux Alpes, a part of the Grande Galaxie Ski Area, will host the Mondial Du Freeski festival on the 25th and 26th of October and the 19th Mondial Du Snowboard from the 31th of October until the 2nd of November.
Les Deux Alpes is one of the most popular European ski resorts. It has some 214 individual pistes of various complexity levels totaling about 220 km in length. The resort is situated above 1,500 m so skiing conditions there are good throughout season.
In the framework of the Mondial Du Freeski well-known manufacturers specializing on skiing and snowboarding equipment will show their new products to amateurs of winter sports. Famous freeskiers, trendsetters and industry leaders will demonstrate their skills and experience showcasing new products offerings.
The Snowboard Awards ceremony will be revived this year to praise the best riders of the season. And general public will definitely enjoy numerous workshops and other events arranged by industry’s leading companies. Surely these festivals will become one of the most important events for many alpine skiing and snowboarding fans.
