Vallee Blanche Piste Should be Highlighted
(Snow Regions in France)There were always debates on if Chamonix Vallee Blanche piste itinerary to be highlighted or not. After long debates everyone came to an agreement and it was decided to reveal the beginning of the route with the guide poles and ropes all winter long with immediate effect.
In the past there were hot discussion whether the sharp flange of the mountain should be equipped or not. There were different opinions on the spot. One believed that it was no matter how experienced the skier was, he would take the risk all the same while skiing down the glacier. However, from the other hand some people considered that being a not very famous place, Chamonix Vallee Blanche would attract more skiers only. That’s why something should have been done in order to prevent accidents over there.
However, in spite of the danger a great number of skier still prefer to go down the Vallee Blanche. There is also a rescue team working in the region. They help the skiers who got into trouble on the itinerary. According to the statistics, there are many accident of death and injuries over there, that’s why it is advisable to go there with a guide. It is also will be excellent to take the avalanche transceiver, crampons, an ice axe and rope with you. Who knows, maybe you’ll really need them to save your life.
