New Lifts in Val Gardena

Famous Italian ski resort Val Gardena will open two more lifts that will replace the old ones, and these new lifts will have quad chairs. Now Val Gardena has the largest number of lifts for ski area that is 27.

The new lifts will be used instead of drag ones that are situated in Sochers and Sotsaslong. It is also planned to displace the double chairlift in Paradiso in Alpe di Siusi with new one that will contain 6 seats. Besides, it is planned to expand the Saslong ski slope.

Val Gardena is situated on three main resorts in the Dolomites. And it is one of those few areas in the world that can accept nearly 115,000 skiers per hour due to the combined power that it gets from its 83 lifts. Besides, it has 110 miles of prepared path, 85 per cent of which has snowmaking cover. Val Gardena is connected with the help of a lift with the Sella Ronda sector of Dolomiti Superski route. The last one is considered to be one of the largest lift pass areas.
