Set on a high plateau, Nendaz (1,400 m) has an incredible view of the Rhône Valley and the Alps. Several historic monuments are proof of over 1000 years of history, which the oldest village in the Quatre Vallées looks back on. To the joy of all winter sports fans, the lifts start directly on the edge of the resort and the bars are also within walking distance.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
