Saanen – experience skiing with tradition!
The historical village of Saanen is located at 1,010 m altitude in Bernese Oberland on the border of Canton Vaud. The narrow streets and historical houses in the centre of the village give the resort a special charm. The focus point of the traditional village is the 15th Century Mauritius church. Besides tourism, the main source of income is still today from traditional handicrafts. Just a few minutes away from Saanen is a real ski and snowboard paradise. Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
