Ski Area Interlaken
The "Grindelwald/Wengen" lift pass includes the First and Kleine Scheidegg/Männlichen ski areas with 160 kilometres of piste. An upgrade to the "Jungfrau-Region" offers access to a ski region with 214 kilometres of piste, up to 2,971 m! These can be divided into three sections, which are connected by lift, ski bus and train. Grindelwald's local mountain and a secret tip for all boarders is the First. This has the longest piste, at 12 km. Here you can use 50 km of primarily light to intermediate pistes, whereas the run from 2,500 m Oberjoch demands a bit even from experts. The 6 km long "First-Egg-Bort-Grindelwald" run is the most difficult, with an altitude difference of 1,118 m. The main area, the connection from Grindelwald to Wengen, offers interesting deep snow territories and is quite impressive with over 100 km of piste covering all skill levels, as well as the traditional "Lauberhorn" world cup run. Snowboarders will have a great time in the large fun park with half pipe on the Lauberhorn or in the beginners park at the Kleine Schneidegg. The region also offers great floodlit pistes, as well as great free rider areas.
