Ski Area Cortina d'Ampezzo

The 1956 Olympic winter games ski area offers fun on the piste for everyone! 116 kilometres of piste from 1,224 - 2,930 m are nearly perfectly connected with 38 lifts. With the unique "Skitour Olympia", you can reach, e.g. all peaks and high points of the 1956 Olympic games. Unforgetable panoramas and runs ensure pure ski enjoyment. You can enjoy the daring pistes between bizarre rocks on Tofana and the Olympia con Pomedes valley run to Rumerlo. You can find varied pistes below Trofana at Pocol and between Col Druscie, Pomedes and Ra Valles, with easy ski meadows and steep runs. Those looking for a challenge should try the steep chute under the wild Forcella Staunies at the Cristallo lifts. For snowboarders there is a snow park with quarter pipe, tables, slides, jumps, half-pipe (200 m) and boarder cross at the Faloria mountain station.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
