Predazzo - the gateway to the Dolomites!
As the largest district of the area, with approx. 4,000 inhabitants, the popular resort Predazzo is located in the north-east of the Val di Fiemme at 1,018 m altitude. The resort characterises itself with its liveliness, which can be experienced at many cultural events and in the cosy regional pubs. The town's landmark are the churches Santi Filippi and Giacomo, built in 1866. After an exciting day on the piste all round Predazzo, the indoor pool or also the sports centre with indoor tennis courts invite you to try other sporty activities. Also the other resorts in the Val di Fiemme are worth a visit. There you will find such things as an ice stadium and outdoor ice rinks.

According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
