Toblach – Alpine-sport und cross-country paradise!
Toblach is located at 1,242 m altitude at the entrance of the Höhlenstein valley and is a gateway to the Dolomites. The magnificent view of the the Tre Cime di Lavaredo ("the three peaks of Lavaredo") lends the resort the melodical name of "The Community of the Three Peaks". Toblach has a hunded-year tourist tradition behind it and is famous for holding cross-country world cup races. The resort also offers large amount of other sport activities: Alpine and cross-country sport, well-prepared winter hiking trails, ice skating, snow shoe hikes through to romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides. Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
