Brixen – skiing fun with medieval flair!
Brixen lies at 567 m altitude and is the oldest and also third largest town in Southern Tyrol. The ancient bishop's town at the river Eisack offers, besides its winter sports, also a number of cultural sights. Lovely churches, monasteries and chapels are awaiting your visit, as well as the quaint alleys with their cosy shops and restaurants. The pistes and the impressive peaks of the Dolomites are always within sight. The local mountain "Plose" takes you up to 2,505 m. Due to its soft slopes it is especially suitable for skiing and it is also perfectly connected to the lift system.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
