Seis - skiing on Europe's largest alp!
Seis am Schlern is situated at 1,000 m on a high plateau between Kastelruth and Völs, with the jags of the Schlern rise majestically in the background. The tradition-filled tourist resort is a starting point for the newly constructed panorama lift to Seiser Alm. Due to the perfect connection into the ski area, the resort enjoys wide popularity with winter sports fans; in spite of this, Seis has been able to retain its original character. The idyllic mountain village is distinguished by both of the churches and three old castle ruins. Sporty alternatives to skiing include the ice rink and numerous winter hiking trails in the area, as well as numerous cross-country ski tracks. On a carriage ride, covered in blankets, guests can let themselves be enchanted by the Seiser Alm's winter landscape. You can let the day come to an end in one of the many cosy mountain lodges.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
