Ski Area Sand in Taufers
With the "Skeikboden/Klausberg" lift pass, you have access to the three ski areals Klausberg, Speikboden and Rein. At altitudes between 951 m - 2,510 m and with a total of approx. 41 kilometres of piste, you will find everything skiing hearts desire! Modern snow-making systems guarantee snow security from November to Easter and excellently prepared pistes ensure a great time on the slopes. At Speikboden you will find primarily gentle slopes. The main attraction of this ski area is the gondola, which has been in operation here since 2005 and only takes 8 minutes to race up 900 m. After a transfer at the middle station, head up another 1,500 m. This altitude difference is the largest covered by a gondola in the entire alpine area. Directly next to the Seenock piste, you will find a great fun park that ensures all sorts of adrenaline rushes. At the Klausberg's valley station you will find a Kinderland, where the little ski devils are in excellent hands. In the fun park at the 8-person chair lift Klaussee or in the snow park at the K" valley station, snowboarders can wear themselves out; the difficult pistes "Hühnerspiel" and "Hexenschuss" also ensure fun and action. The longest run - approx. 10 km with an altitude difference of 1,460 m - is found at the Klausberg K2, whereas the loveliest carving slopes are found at the "Sonnenlift". Deep snow fans will get their money's worth further away from the pistes.
