Ski Area Rasen
The ski area around Plan de Corones (2,275 m), South Tyrol's no. 1 ski mountain, offers more than just a little skiing fun with the lift pass "Skirama Kronplatz". Thanks to more than 216 snow-making systems, the area is snow-secure from December to April. 105 kilometres of piste and 31 modern lift systems between 975 - 2,275 m, as well as a varied offer provide unforgettable ski enjoyment for big and small. Snowboarders can burn off steam on the half-pipe. The area is also known as host to various sports events, e.g. Snowboard World Cup, Biathalon World Championship or the international Valle di Casies run, the largest sporting event in South Tyrol! For an even larger selection, you can upgrade to the lift pass "Dolomiti Superski" and choose from 1,200 kilometres of piste and 448 lifts!

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
