Rasen - wintry idyll at Plan de Corones!
Rasen (1,030 m), a small town made up of the three districts Niederrasen, Oberrasen and Neunhäuser, is the entry to the beautiful Antholz Valley in South Tyrol. The "Dolomiti Nordik Ski" in Rasen-Antholz is the largest cross-country ski region in Europe with approx. 1,000 kilometres of cross-country track for never-ending ski and outdoor enjoyment. It is simple to reach the Plan de Corones ski region with the ski bus stop right in fron of the house. Wide, well maintained, snow-sure piste provide a winter paradise for ski and snowboarders. Children can enjoy the Niederrasen-Oberstall toboggan run and a firing range when not enjoying the snow. The breathtaking scenery can be enjoyed with ski and snowshoe tours. Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
