Ski Area Bruneck

The ski area around Plan de Corones (2,275 m), South Tyrol's skiing mountain number 1, has much more to offer with the lift pass "Kronplatz" than just a little bit of skiing fun. Thanks to it's 216 snow-making systems, the pistes have guaranteed snow from April until December. 105 km of pistes and 31 modern ascending systems between 935 - 2,275 m promise an unforgettable skiing holiday for all ages. For beginners, children and families the 8-person gondola "CroniExpress" is most suitable. Pistes with a width of 100 m and a difference in altitude of 160 m await the skiers here. "Croniworld" is located at the top of the mountain, from which parents can observe their children's progress or just enjoy the fantastic 360 degrees panoramic view. The two downhill pistes named "Sylvester" and "Herrnegg" with their steep passages, however are challenging even to experienced skiers. Snowboarders can enjoy their time on the halfpipe. No other ski area presents itself as diversified as Plan de Corones. The area is especially well known as it is often used for various sports events, for instance the snowboard world cup. To enjoy a larger choice of pistes you can also book an upgrade for the lift pass "Dolomiti Superski". This will give you a choice of 1,200 km of pistes accessible by 450 lifts.
