Ski Area Sestrière
A total of 400 kilometres of piste and 79 lifts are included in the lift pass "Via Lattea". Due to the good altitude (1,360 - 2,823 m) and the present snow-making systems, this area is particularly snow-secure. All winter sports fans can benefit from the many improvements in infrastructure, which were specially effected for the 2006 Winter Olympics. The ski area offers both beginners and experts a varied selection of pistes. At the snow parks in Sestrière and Montgenèvre, as well as in "Double Black Park" on Rio Nero near Sauze d'Oulx, snowboarders can compete with quarter pipe, rails and kicker.
