Ski Area Bardonecchia
With the lift pass "Bardonecchia" you can enjoy a wonderful skiing holiday on a total of 100 km of piste and 21 lifts. During the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, all the snowboard competitions took place in Bardonecchia: parallel giant slalom, boarder cross and half-pipe. But skiers will love the region too! The larger area starts in the town centre at Campo Smith and is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. Due to the high altitude and the snow cannons, the pistes are very snow-sure. The Jaffereau area (2,765 m) on the other side of the town is very popular with highly advanced skiers. It provides great off-piste opportunities and offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountainside.
