St. Englmar - centre of winter sports in the Bavarian Forest
The state-recognised spa resort St. Englmar is situated at an altitude of 800 m and is known as the centre of winter sports in the Bavarian Forest. The lovely village is located on a southern slope of a mountain range in the Bavarian Forest and offers ideal conditions for skiing, winter hiking, tobogganing or horse-drawn sleigh rides. Here you will find both an entertaining and eventful holiday, as well as all sorts of relaxation and fun in a beautiful natural setting. The Arber, the Bavarian Forest's highest mountain at 1,456 m, became well-known due to the international ski world cup. The local mountains Predigtstuhl, Pröller and Hirschenstein also offer great winter sports opportunities.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
