Close to the Italian border and at the foot of the Col du Mont Cenis (2,083 m), is where you will find the valley Haute Maurienne. With its two resorts, Val Cenis and Termignon, it is situated in the heart of the "La Vanoise" national park and surrounded by an impressive mountain range. The ski areas of Val Cenis and Termignon have been connected by two chair lifts since 2008. This connection has led to great access to 125 kilometres of piste up to an altitude of 2,800 m – from Europe’s longest beginners’ piste to great black slopes. Val Cenis is situated in the heart of the Savoyrd Alps on the Italian border. The resort comprises of the districts "Lanslevillard" and "Lanslebourg", which are only 3 km away. A complimentary bus runs from the districts to the gondola. Both districts in Val Cenis have maintained their Savoyard charm. Friendly locals, picturesque lanes, various shops and exquisite French cuisine are highlights, which mean for a successful holiday.
