La Joue du Loup - small but nice!

The charming and family-friendly mountain village in the Maritime Alps sets itself apart from other ski resorts with its traditional atmosphere. The connection of the skiing areas offers skiers of all ability a range of 100 kilometres of piste enjoyment - one of the largest ski areas in the southern Alps. Our comfortable chalet-style apartments are newly built, some in 2006, and just a few metres away from the slopes and lifts. La Joue du Loup - small but nice!

The village, built in 1985, is located at approx. 1,500 m in the southwestern part of the Départements Hautes-Alpes, approx. 95 km from Grenoble and only 40 km from Gap. La Joue du Loup is a cosy resort made up of several small and closely located facilities. The distance to the lifts is short and supermarkets can easily be reached on foot. The village may be a little smaller and calmer, but leisure possibilities like the cinema, snowshoe hikes, or a dog-sled ride offer plenty of variety.
