Ski Area Waidring (Steinplatte)
Three interconnected ski areas in Waidring - Winklmoosalm-Steinplatte (Waidring, Buchensteinwand (St. Ulrich) and Fieberbrunn - are just waiting to be explored by winter sports fans. The area is located at an altitude of 778 - 2,000 m and offers a unique panorama from every station. In the Steinplatte ski area in Waidring, skiers strike higher: excellently prepared pistes, for a total length of 35 km, modern chair lifts and gondolas and a funpark with slides and jumps provide for necessary variety. In addition to first-class snow conditions, there is above all one thing: sun! The ski region Dreiländereck Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria are situated on a high plateau with the best conditions for barely iced pistes and a lot of snow. The “Schneewinkel” lift pass is included in the holiday price and allows guests to take advantage of a total of 170 kilometres of piste in St. Johan, Reit in Winkl, Steinplatte, Buchensteinwand and Fieberbrunn.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
