Ski Area Unterwössen
The lift pass Unterberghorn is valid for 10 lifts and 30 kilometres of piste at the Kössener Hausberg. Along with this, a diverse ski area looming up to 1,700 m in altitude is available. Due to the geographic location to the north of the Alps, the pistes can be used from mid-December straight through to the beginning of April. This is supported by additional snow-machines. From Kössen it’s up to the quaint Bärenhütte with the modern 6 person cable car. Whilst beginners have fun on the sunny high plateau, more practised skiers can let loose on the “black” valley run. You will find deep-snow areas, which are secured, at the Unterbergalm and partially at the valley run. Highly recommended is a trip to the Walchsee ski area (Zahmer Kaiser with a further 25 km of piste).
