Ski Area Thaur
The "Glungezer" lift pass offers ski enjoyment from approx. 950 - 2,304 m with a total of 22.5 kilometres of well-maintained pistes. The pistes wind through a gorgeous landscape, and you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama view of the lovely Inn Valley and the peaks of the northern chain. Fans will especially enjoy the forest runs and can take a break in the cosy mountain lodges. On the Tulfeinalm, a 4.5 km run awaits pros and experienced skiers can test the 9 km long FIS run. Free riders and boarders can burn off steam in the Schartenkogel lift area. At the edge of the pistes, traditional huts and cosy restaurants on the Halsmarter invite you to stop by.

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
