St. Leonhard - first-class ski area!
St. Leonhard lies in the heart of the Pitz Valley and comprises besides the main town also numerous communities in the Inner Pitz Valley. The impressive panorama of the surrounding 3,000 m mountains, e.g. the Luibiskogel (3,110 m) or the Rofelewand (3,353 m) or also the Windspitze (3,774 m), dominate the high alpine landscape. No matter whether skier, snowboarder, hiker or just nature lover - this area offers something for everyone! Numerous cross-country ski trails weave through the valley and the wonderful landscape can be admired while on a snowshoe hike. Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
