Ski Area St. Johann in Tyrol

The "Schneewinkel" lift pass allows you access to a toatl of 199 kilometres of piste and 58 lifts in Fieberbrunn, Waidring-Steinplatte, Skilifte Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf, Lärchenhof and on the German side in Reit im Winkl! St. Johann is located between the famous Kitzbüheler Horn - here lovingly called "St. Johann's Horn" - and the Wilder Kaiser. Due to its good northern location, the pistes are also very snow sure in spring. The 60 kilometres of piste in St. Johann (incl. Eichendorf and Oberndorf) stretch from 670 - 1,700 m in altitude and can be easily reached with 17 lifts. A modern lift brings you quickly to the Harschbichl peak in two steps. Families and beginners will definitely get their money's worth here, due to the primarily easy to intermediate pistes. The ski area does offer quite a bit for experienced skiers, though, e.g. the black, 5 km long FIS Sauregg run from Penzing to Oberndorf or the challenging free ride area at Stanglalm and Kröpfalm! Snowboarders will love the "Woodside" snow park with quarter pipe, as well as a half-pipe at the Eichenhof lifts. Enthusiasts shouldn't miss the Woodside Opening!
