Sölden - powder snow and party!
The world class resort Sölden (1,377 m) is one of the most well-known ski and snowboard centres of Europe, as well as a legendary apres ski metropolis. The ski region (1,377-3,340 m) consists of the famous Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers as well as Sölden's own Giggijoch-Gaislachkogel ski areas. These have recently been interlinked with the glaciers, thus creating an absolutely perfect ski circus of 147 kilometres of piste. Afternoons and evenings are "party time"- you'll have a great time in the mountain huts and in the village itself. Sölden - Powder snow and party! Sölden has a tourism infrastructure that will leave no wish unfulfilled. A highlight is the leisure arena, in which you'll find the Ötztal Alpine pool (caringly built in Tyrolean style) and its saunas. The leisure arena also offers a skating rink, a sport and tennis hall, a fitness studio, bowling alleys and a cinema. Accommodation in well-furnished apartments, cosy Austrian pensions or comfy houses in single, double, and several-bed rooms. The majority of the accommodations are located near the centre in Solden or directly on the piste.
