Boasting 624 km of piste, 175 lifts and snow-sure pistes up to 3,250 m, the Ziller Valley's ski region is undoubtedly one of the top ski regions in the Alps. Fügen itself offers two ski areas, and the new connection between the ski areas Hochfügen and Hochzillertal extends the area's offer to 166 km of pure ski enjoyment! Fügen, the largest town at the entrance to the renowned Zillertal Valley consists of two centres. The cosy town centre, with its cafés, shops and restaurants, bursts to life in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the cluster of hotels around the lower station of the Spieljochbahn is the site of most of the après ski.
