Maurach - away from the hustle & bustle!
The small, yet fine resort of Maurach is located at 950 m on the southern shore of Achensee. Snow enjoyment and relaxation are top priorities here. The village's rustic Tyrolean charm is very inviting and many restaurants offer culinary delight. Particularly nice is its close proximity to the ski area. Guests can comfortably reach the Maurach ski area with the Rofan lift. A "flight" with the new sky glider "Airrofan" ensures an adrenaline rush; soar like an eagle over the Gschöllkopf, down 200 m at 85 km/h! Off-piste, guests can relax with sport activities such as tobogganing, or take part in a romantic winter ride on noble horses. The Notburga art museum is also definitely worth a day trip.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
