Marquartstein - the holiday experience!

The upper Bavarian community of Marquartstein lies approx. 15 km from the Kössen ski area. The idyllic village is surrounded by the local Hochgern (1,744 m) and Hochplatte (1,586 m) mountains, and is a favoured resort for winter sports fans at the Tiroler Ache. But it isn't just skiers getting their money's worth in the nearby ski areas of Wilder Kaiser and Zahmer Kaiser. Marquartstein also offers a 3.5 km long tobogganing run by the Hochplatten gondola and tracked cross-country runs, as well as prepared winter hiking trails.
