Ski Area Krimml
With the Zillertaler Superskipass, you have access to 640 kilometres of piste and 169 lifts in the 8 ski areas in the Ziller, Gerlos and Tux valleys, which are all well-connected through the free shuttle bus. Krimml belongs to the Ziller Valley and offers seamless access to 163 kilometres of piste and 50 lifts up to 2,500 m. From the resort, you can quickly reach the manageable pistes below the Gerlos Platte, as well as the sunny slopes on the Königsleiten Peak. The Ziller Valley region offers very diverse runs for all sorts! The longest (9.7 km) valley run runs from Stoanmandl to Ebenfeld to the Isskogel valley station. Experts dare the black "Abfahrt Nr. 6" in the Krummbach Valley, whereas deep snow and free ride fans find their territory around Gerlos. Free-stylers will be completely happy in the Hot Zone snow park in Gerlos. Boarder fun is guaranteed on the mega half-pipe (100 m long, 14 m wide)! Additionally, the deep snow runs on Kapaun's sports alley, the Wild Krimml and on Kreuzjoch, are simply made for boarders. Children's pistes and a ski kindergarten with special children's programme ensure exciting entertainment for the little ones. A highlight that we recommend is a trip to the Hintertux glacier, which is one of the best alpine glaciers, due to its size and challenging pistes.
