Ski Area Königsleiten

With the Zillertaler Superskipass, you will have access to 668 kilometres of piste and 172 lifts in the 8 ski regions of the Ziller, Gerlos and Tux valleys, which are all inter-connected by a free bus. Königsleiten offers guests a direct entry point to the Ziller Valley Arena, which is connected to Zell am Ziller, where you will gain access to 166 kilometres of the best prepared pistes. Here, in the most extensive ski area of the Ziller Valley, there are 48 lifts which can take easy and comfortably up to 2,500 m. From there you will have a diverse choice of runs--one of the most difficult is “Abfahrt Nr. 6” in Krummbach Valley, with a difference in elevation of 964 m. The longest valley run is 10.4 km and leads skiers from “Stoanmandl” over “Ebenfeld” to the valley station “Isskogl”. Deep powder and free-ride enthusiasts will have the opportunity to discover many areas, among them the Arbiskogl area. Free-stylers should check out the “Hot Zone Snowpark” in Gerlos. The mega half-pipe--100 m long and 14 m wide--is guaranteed to supply plenty of boarder fun! Children’s runs, children's ski school and a ski kindergarten with a special children’s programme provide much entertainment for kids. As a Ziller Valley highlight, we recommend a day trip to the Hintertux glacier, with its generous and promising piste selection placing it high among the best Alpine glaciers.
