Hopfgarten - skiing fit for an emperor!

At the foot of the Hohe Salve stretches one of the sunniest resorts in the Kitzbühl Alps, the market community of Hopfgarten (620 m). You won't find mass tourism here; rather, a resort which has retained its identity and welcomes its guests with good old hospitality. The traditional resort centre highlights this identity with its narrow, stony pubs and magnificent baroque church with its two steeples, the landmark of Hopfgarten. As it is only one hour by car from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck, Hopfgarten-Kelchsau is easily reached by bus, car and train even during times of heavy snow.
