Apres-Ski Bad Gastein

From the slope to the pub - that could be Bad Gastein's motto! Numerous eateries on the piste offer opportunities to relax and linger. Lively goings-on reign in resort, with the party-hungry heading through the bars and discos until late at night. The discos "Zentrale" or "Silver Bulett" are great for dancing, and the party is on in many apres ski bars and pubs, such as "Joe's Bar". Try out the exciting casino atmosphere in Bad Gastein, as well. Both of the large thermal springs promise relaxation, as does the spa centre. Numerous activities such as tobogganing, curling, winter hikes or ice skating are also offered during the day - you're certain to find just the right thing! History buffs can visit the Klammstein Castle at the valley entrance, offering an exhibition about development of the castle. Families shouldn't miss out on a trip to the fortress, either: A ghostly tour is offered for the little thriller fans.
