From Salzburg approx. one hour: Tauern motorway, direction South to Bischofshofen, Exit Gasteinertal, national road 167 to Gasteinertal.
From Innsbruck approx. two hours: Motorway through Wörgl, national road 312 through St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, national road 311 through Zell am See to Lend, national road 167 to Gastein or motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, exit Gasteinertal, national road 167 to Gasteinertal.
From the south: Drive over Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz and from there comfortably reach Gastein through the auto gate.
·By Train:
Euro trains and InterCity trains, fast and express trains, stop at the central station in Bad Gastein. Taxi and autobus connections to the various districts are available. The next car-sleeper-train loading point is in Bischofshofen. A delivery and pick-up service by taxi settles the luggage transfer.
·By Plane:
The nearest airports are Salzburg and Munich. Taxi transfers from and in Gasteinertal.Medical information

Alpine skiing in France: successful season in the Alps
According to official statistics, the last 2011-2012 season was quite successful for the French Alps. The number of tourists visited ski resorts in France at the famous peaks increased compared with the previous year by 2%.

Ski resorts in Austria suffer from noise
Residents of Zell-Am-Se town had to complain about excessive noise, which produces numerous bars of the Austrian ski resort in the Salzburg region.

Bulgarian ski resort: Easter skiing
According to the Bulgarian National Television, the resort administration decided to offer unique opportunity to free skiing on the slopes of Pamporovo before the Easter after consultation with the Smolyan city authorities, which is located near the resort.
