Altenmarkt - enjoy the sprawling Ski amadé!
Altenmarkt is situated amongst picturesque surroundings in the Salzburger Sport World, at an altitude of 842 m. Several churches and chapels enhance the resort's impressive scenery. Altenmarkt has recently been host several times for various winter sports events like the Free-style World Cup and World Cup events in downhill skiing. Access to the divine ski area is via Zauchensee. After an eventful day on the piste in a magnificent ski area, you can take part in a mix of leisure activities. Keen shoppers will have a blast as there are many shops and boutiques here, due to the good infrastructure. Sports fans can test out the toboggan runs in the surrounding area or be wowed by the idyllic landscape whilst taking a long walk. Those looking for a quieter time can round off the day in a cosy mountain lodge.

Seefeld will celebrate the end of winter
At the world-famous Austrian ski resort of Seefeld on February 19 will be organized Maskentreiben 2012 festivities. Originally a small celebration created by local residents for the tourists evolved into a vivid entertainment show, enjoying great popularity among the guests of the resort.
