Ski Area Kartitsch (Alta Pusteria)

The three family-friendly ski areas around Sillian, Kartitsch and Obertilliach not only offer an awesome panorama view onto the Dolomites, but also a lot of skiing pleasure with 61 kilometres of piste and 12 lifts. The Thurntaler ski area is the most well-known of the region. From the 2,407 m peak, there is an 11 km long valley run, right down to Sillian. For snowboarders there is the "Yellow Snowpark", and a children's world for the little ones. Easier pistes can be found on the flat, sunny slopes at the Golzentipp, the local mountain of Obertillach and in Kartitsch. The "Ski Hit Osttirol-Kärnten" lift pass, included in the holiday price, grants you immediate access to eight ski areas: Großglockner Resort, Brunnalm/Defereggental, Sillian/Alta Pusteria, Kartitsch, Lienz and Obertiliach - meaning you can use 288 km of pistes at your leisure!
