Ski Area Canillo

With the "Grandvalira" lift pass you have 193 km of piste available, which are connected by 67 lifts. This is the largest ski area in Europe outside of the Alps, made up of the Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig and Soldeu/El Tarter areas. If you prefer the more untouched and newly developed slopes, then you should start by spending a day above Canillo and enjoy the width of the Pyrenees. Between Pic de la Portella (2,465 m) and Riba Escorxada lies the 2,490 m high Pic d'Encampadana, whose summit you can sometimes reach by snowmobile. From there you have access to wonderful deep snow descents. The numerous off-piste possibilities in the whole ski area and the unique mogul runs are best left to the more advanced. The funparks, boardercross courses and FIS racing runs are really pleasing to "Cracks".
